To me, education means nurturing what already exists within a student's soul. Our ancestors understood this well — they sought to help each child make sense of the world around them. Their prayer, "तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय" — "lead me from darkness to light" — captures this beautifully: leading us out of ignorance into the light of knowledge. They recognized education as an empowering tool, a great liberating force that frees the human soul from the shackles of outdated dogma and prejudice.
What is education, ultimately? It is the very soul of a society, passed down from one generation to the next.
Holistic, quality education is the deepest and most urgent need of our country. It brings me great joy that destiny has given me the opportunity to be part of this larger mission — nurturing the life and hope of the nation. The boundless possibilities of the future can only be realized through a modern education system that blends tradition and modernity into one golden whole.
As part of the Goenkan family, we wish you all the happiness and success you deserve.
