Rolling Towards Success: GD Goenka Roorkee Shines at the 5th Open District Roller Skating Championship 2026

It is a proud moment for GD Goenka Roorkee as our young skating champions delivered an outstanding performance at the 5th Open District Roller Skating Championship 2026. Competing with speed, balance and determination, our students brought home an impressive tally of medals, making the entire school community proud.

Bhuvan Luthra of Grade 7-B, competing in the Under-14 category, won the Silver Medal in the 500m event and the Bronze Medal in the 300m event. Abhimanyu of Grade 7-A, also competing in the Under-14 category, secured the Silver Medal in both the 500m and 300m events. Their consistent performance across multiple events reflects remarkable skill, practice and sportsmanship.

Roller skating demands sharp reflexes, balance and endurance and these achievements are a true testament to the hard work our young athletes have put in. Congratulations to Bhuvan Luthra and Abhimanyu on this fantastic achievement! At GD Goenka Roorkee, we take great pride in celebrating such moments and we look forward to seeing our students continue to roll towards even greater success.
