Little Goenkans, Big Festival Smiles: Dussehra Celebration at GD Goenka Roorkee

Our little stars at GD Goenka Roorkee celebrated Dussehra with lots of happiness, excitement and zeal. Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the young Goenkans brought the timeless story of Lord Rama to life through a charming presentation that filled the school with festive joy.

Through this celebration, children understood the meaningful concept behind the festival — the victory of good over evil. Activities like these help young learners connect with India's rich cultural heritage in a way that is simple, joyful and memorable, while nurturing values like truth, courage and kindness.

At GD Goenka Roorkee, we believe festivals are a wonderful way to teach children about tradition and values beyond textbooks. Wishing everyone a very Happy Dussehra!
