GD Goenka Roorkee was honoured to welcome Rakesh Khatri, popularly known as "The Nest Man of India," an environmental conservationist and founder of the Eco Roots Foundation. Renowned for his pioneering work in bird conservation, eco-friendly nest making and biodiversity awareness, Rakesh Khatri brought a wealth of knowledge and passion to his interaction with our students.
His inspiring session highlighted the importance of bird conservation, biodiversity and eco-friendly practices, encouraging students to think deeply about their role in protecting the environment. Through engaging storytelling and real-world insights, students gained a meaningful understanding of how small, everyday actions can make a big difference for our planet.
